About

Constantine “Coz” Adams has turned a lifelong love of The Legend of Zelda into something truly historic. On July 19, 2025, his meticulously curated Hyrule hoard in Fairfax, Virginia was officially verified at 3,918 unique items, earning recognition in the record books as the largest collection of The Legend of Zelda memorabilia in the world.

Coz’s journey started back in 1993, when he received a Game Boy and a copy of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening for his ninth birthday. That first adventure on Koholint Island sparked a fascination that never faded. Over the years he hunted games across multiple systems, buying and reselling huge lots of cartridges and discs, and reinvesting most of the profit into one thing he loved more than anything else, Zelda.

By the early 2000s, his shelves were filling up, but a missed chance to buy a massive lot of Zelda amiibo figures in 2016 changed everything. Instead of giving up, Coz doubled down and set his sights on something bigger. He began carefully tracking each new item, from limited-edition statues and rare promo goods to manga, soundtrack CDs, and obscure regional releases, determined to build the most complete Zelda collection he possibly could.

Today, his basement is less a room and more a private Zelda museum. Rows of figures, boxed consoles, collector’s editions, and glass cases of ultra-rare pieces line the walls, creating a visual timeline of Hyrule’s history. Friends and family helped count and organize every last item for the world-record verification, turning the final push into a celebration of a twenty-five year quest.

For Coz, the record is not just about numbers. It represents childhood memories with his brother, countless hours of exploration, and a deep connection to a series that has shaped his life. As an Extreme Zelda Fan on Zelda Central, Constantine “Coz” Adams stands as living proof of how far passion, persistence, and a love of Hyrule can go when you never stop collecting heart pieces for your own legend.
