Introduction
In The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, the “Precious Treasure” side quest offers players an opportunity to assist a Sea Zora in safeguarding his valuables. This quest becomes available after completing the Jabul Waters Rift and provides a rewarding experience for those who undertake it.
How to Initiate the Quest
To begin the “Precious Treasure” quest:
- Location: Navigate to the Sea Zora Village, situated within the Jabul Waters region.
- Quest Giver: Upon entering the village, you’ll encounter a dark blue Sea Zora near the entrance. Engage in conversation to learn about his predicament—he seeks a secure container to store his cherished items.
Quest Objectives and Solution
The Sea Zora requires a container with a lid to prevent his treasures from floating away underwater. Here’s how to assist him:
- Find an Empty Treasure Chest: Directly south of the Sea Zora Village entrance, submerged underwater and surrounded by Sea Urchins, lies a treasure chest. Use the ‘Bind’ ability to move the Sea Urchins away, clearing a path to the chest.
- Retrieve and Deliver the Chest: Open the chest to collect its contents, typically 20 Rupees. After emptying, use ‘Bind’ again to carry the now-empty chest back to the Sea Zora, who has relocated to the top of Zora Cove.
Rewards for Completion
Upon delivering the empty treasure chest, the Sea Zora will express his gratitude by rewarding you with Monster Stones. You will receive three Monster Stones, which are valuable for repairing broken automatons and other in-game enhancements.
Alternative Chest Locations: While the chest south of the village is the most accessible, other chests in the Jabul Waters region can also be used. Ensure any chest you choose is emptied before presenting it to the Sea Zora.
