New Zelda Historical Charms Celebrate 12 Games This October

Zelda collectors in Japan will soon have another reason to keep a few coins handy. Takara Tomy Arts is bringing back its Zelda Historical Charm collection with an expanded lineup covering 12 games, from the original adventure to Echoes of Wisdom.

The new Historical Charm+ collection is scheduled to reach Japanese capsule machines during the week of October 13, 2026. Each pull costs ¥300, including tax.

A Triforce for Your Favorite Zelda

The charms are metal, shaped like the Triforce, and measure approximately 3.5 centimeters. Each design features artwork representing a different Zelda game, giving collectors a small tribute to their favorite adventure.

The collection doubles the number of designs available in the original six-charm set released in 2017. The full lineup includes:

  • The Legend of Zelda
  • Zelda II: The Adventure of Link
  • A Link to the Past
  • Ocarina of Time
  • Majora’s Mask
  • The Wind Waker
  • Twilight Princess
  • Skyward Sword
  • Link’s Awakening
  • Breath of the Wild
  • Tears of the Kingdom
  • Echoes of Wisdom

Wind Waker and Twilight Princess fans both have a design to chase, while the inclusion of Tears of the Kingdom and Echoes of Wisdom brings the collection up to the series’ more recent adventures.

There’s a nice choice here for anyone whose favorite Zelda gets less attention in merchandise. Zelda II has its own charm alongside the familiar Ocarina of Time and Breath of the Wild designs.

Japan Release Begins This Month

These are capsule toys, so the ¥300 price is for one random charm rather than a design of your choice. Getting your favorite on the first try will take a little luck.

An international release has not been announced. For now, the confirmed launch is in Japan, and Takara Tomy Arts lists a release week rather than a guaranteed arrival date for every machine.

You can see all 12 designs on Takara Tomy Arts’ official product page.
