The Climbing Set makes you scale cliffs faster, and the set bonus lowers the stamina cost of the jump while climbing. The three pieces are shrine rewards: the bandanna at Ree Dahee Shrine, the gear at Chaas Qeta Shrine and the boots at Tahno O’ah Shrine, which the Secret of the Cedars shrine quest opens.

How to get the set
Climber’s Bandanna
Complete Ree Dahee Shrine on the Dueling Peaks and open the chest at the end of the trial.
Climbing Gear
Reach the island of Chaas Qeta Shrine in the Necluda Sea and beat the combat trial, A Major Test of Strength. The gear is in the chest.
Climbing Boots
Do the Secret of the Cedars shrine quest to open Tahno O’ah Shrine in the Lanayru region. The boots are in the chest.

Upgrades are done at a Great Fairy fountain. The fairies charge 100, 500, 1,000 and 10,000 Rupees in the order you awaken them, and each one you awaken raises the highest star level available by one. Each piece must be upgraded one star at a time, and the set bonus switches on once every worn piece has reached two stars.
Set bonus and use
- Climb Speed Up on each piece increases climbing speed, which is worth wearing on any big cliff.
- Climbing Jump Stamina Up makes the jump during a climb cost less stamina.
