Goma Asaagh Shrine (A Major Test of Strength)

Goma Asaagh is a combat shrine in a cave blocked by ice. Melt the ice with fire, then beat a Guardian Scout IV with 3,000 health. The arena has no columns, so use Stasis on its rush attacks.

How to find it

The shrine is in a small cave at the foot of Hebra Peak, in the middle of Hebra. Giant ice blocks seal it, so bring a fire weapon, and wear cold-resistant gear or eat cold-resistance food.

Solution

Melt the ice

Burn through the ice blocks with a fire weapon or fire arrows to reach the shrine.

Use Stasis on the rushes

There are no columns to trap it, so freeze it with Stasis during its rush attacks and punish it.

Glide over the laser

Halfway, it spins a laser. Ride the updraft over it and strike.

Finish and loot

Beat it before or while dodging its charged shot. Take its dropped weapons, open the chest for the claymore and receive the Spirit Orb.
