Ka’o Makagh Shrine (Metal Doors Open the Way)

How to find it

Go to Highland Stable and walk a short way south, to the east of Haran Lake. The entrance is there.

Solution

Open the door and take out the Scouts

Use Magnesis to lift the first metal door. In the hall, climb the stairs on the right for the high ground, then shoot the nearby Guardian Scout in the eye, stepping back whenever it charges its beam. Lure the second Scout across to the raised area and finish it the same way.

Open the Traveler’s Bow chest

With the Scouts down, open the doors on the left with Magnesis and take the chest holding a Traveler’s Bow.

Pull out the Gold Rupee

Back in the hall, one raised area has a removable block on its back wall. Pull it out with Magnesis to reveal a chest with a Gold Rupee.

Build a path for the Opal

Bomb the breakable blocks holding a door in the small room, then use Magnesis to lay it as a walkway from one raised area to the next. The chest on the high platform to the far left holds an Opal. Make a ramp close to it and drag it down with Magnesis.

Reach the monk

Use the same door as a ramp from the right-hand platform to the final area and speak to the monk Ka’o Makagh.

Chests and rewards

  • Traveler’s Bow: small room behind the second door.
  • Gold Rupee: behind the removable block in the hall.
  • Opal: chest on the high platform to the far left.
  • Spirit Orb: from the monk Ka’o Makagh at the end.
