How to find it

The trial starts at the south-western entrance to the forest, where Zooki stands on a rock beside the trail. Speaking to him gives you the quest. Chio in Korok Forest also tells you about the Korok trials.

Solution

Follow the trees

Zooki’s hint is to follow the trees with rocks in their mouths. The fog is thick, but Magnesis makes the metal rocks glow, so you can hop from one to the next.

Feed the first tree

The trail ends in a clearing with a rusty shield. Put it in the mouth of the tree the sign points to, using Magnesis or by dropping it from your inventory. A chest appears in the mouth of a neighboring tree.

Ferry the chest to the island

Take the chest to the raft on the lake, using Magnesis to place it on the raft. Use a Korok leaf from the clearing to sail to the island in the middle.

Place the chest in the island tree

Use Magnesis to put the chest into the mouth of the tree on the island. The shrine rises on the lakeshore, ending the trial.

Enter the shrine

Inside there is no puzzle. Open the chest for the Giant Ancient Core and speak to the monk Kuhn Sidajj for the Spirit Orb.

Chests and rewards

  • Giant Ancient Core: in the chest inside the shrine.
  • Spirit Orb: from the monk Kuhn Sidajj.
