Mogg Latan Shrine (Synced Swing)

Mogg Latan is a timing and metal-handling shrine. Hop across two swinging platforms, drop a drawbridge with arrows, freeze spiked balls with Stasis as you pass, then use Magnesis to build steps to a pair of metal doors guarding the monk. A fire arrow clears the leaves in front of those doors.

How to find it

Climb Satori Mountain, the large mountain in the middle of the Ridgeland. The shrine is in the high ground near the upper slopes. Before you go in, burn the pile of dead leaves to the right of the entrance and lift the rock that is uncovered to find a Korok.

Solution

Cross the swings

Two metal swings hang over a gap. Jump onto the first as it swings close and from it to the small ledge beyond. Use Magnesis on the second swing to set it moving, then ride it across.

Lower the drawbridge

A raised drawbridge blocks the path. Shoot the ropes holding it from a distance and it will fall to form a walkway. Beyond it is a chest that can be opened freely.

Pass the spiked balls

Three spiked metal balls swing on chains across the walkway. Pull each one aside with Magnesis, freeze it with Stasis while it is away from the path and walk past. Repeat for all three. A fourth ball guards an optional chest: set it moving the same way, then open the chest and get back to the stairs before it returns.

Build steps with the platforms

In the next room, use Magnesis to arrange the metal platforms into steps. With a little care you can reach the chest hidden beneath the monk’s platform, which holds a Gold Rupee. Rearrange the platforms again to climb to the ledge behind the metal doors.

Open the doors

Burn the dead leaves hiding the doors with a fire arrow, then pull the doors apart with Magnesis to reach the monk.

Chests and rewards

  • Forest Dweller’s Spear: in a stone chest on the right side of the platform after the drawbridge.
  • Forest Dweller’s Bow: in the optional chest past the last spiked ball.
  • Gold Rupee: in the chest under the monk’s platform.
  • Spirit Orb: from the monk Mogg Latan at the end.
