Rona Kachta Shrine (Rona Kachta’s Blessing)

Rona Kachta is a blessing shrine with nothing to solve inside. The challenge is the Forgotten Temple around it, where several Guardians wake as soon as you step in. Use the stonework as cover, ride the updrafts, and make a run for the shrine at the back.

How to find it

The Forgotten Temple stands in the north-west corner of Hyrule, south-east of Snowfield Stable. The shrine is already unlocked on the map once you reach it, so there is no quest to start: you only have to get inside. Bring shields, spare weapons and a stock of healing food, because the Guardians in this ruin hit hard.

Solution

Cross the temple

Enter the temple grounds and move from one piece of cover to the next. Each Guardian locks on as you step into view, so break their line of sight behind pillars and walls and wait out each laser before advancing.

Use the updrafts

The warm updrafts inside the ruin carry you over the worst of the Guardians. Open the Paraglider on them to cover ground quickly, keeping a wall between yourself and any Guardian that is charging a shot.

Take the reward

Inside the shrine, open the chest for the Great Flameblade and speak to Monk Rona Kachta for the Spirit Orb.
