Voo Lota Shrine (The Winding Route)

Voo Lota is a vertical glider course. You hit a switch, drift between platforms on air currents and fan updrafts, collect a Small Key from a corner chest, freeze a fan with Stasis to land on a second chest holding a Flameblade, then ride the currents back to the key door and the monk.

How to find it

The shrine lies on the western side of the gorge below Rito Village, near Passer Hill, and it is not available from the start. You must finish the Recital at Warbler’s Nest shrine quest first, which brings the shrine up out of the ground. Once it has risen you can glide across the gorge to reach it.

Solution

Hit the switch and glide to the centre

Climb up from the entrance and strike the switch to start the machinery. Then open the Paraglider and drift out to the platform in the middle of the room.

Cross to the left platform

From the middle platform, turn left and use an air current with the Paraglider to reach the platform on that side.

Take the Small Key

Float above the fan to gain height, then jump off again and steer past the spikes to the far corner. The chest there holds a Small Key.

Stop the fan for the Flameblade

Do not simply ride the next current back. Glide past it and you will see a chest on a platform that an air current keeps pushing you away from. Look down at the fan below, freeze it with Stasis, and you can land on the platform and open the chest for a Flameblade.

Return to the locked door

Use the air currents to glide back to the door that needs a Small Key. Unlock it and speak to the monk for your Spirit Orb.

Chests and rewards

  • Small Key: in the chest in the corner beyond the first fan.
  • Flameblade: in the chest you can only reach by freezing the lower fan with Stasis.
  • Spirit Orb: from the monk behind the key door.
