Stalhorse: Pictured!

Juannelle wants a picture of a Stalhorse. They only appear at night, usually carrying mounted Moblins in the North Tabantha Snowfield. Photograph one so it registers in the Compendium, then show her the image.

Solution

Talk to Juannelle

Speak to Juannelle inside Snowfield Stable. She asks for a photo of a Stalhorse and will not accept anything else.

Find a Stalhorse

Wait for night, then head into the northern part of the Tabantha snowfield. Mounted Moblins roam in groups there after dark, and one of the mounts is usually a Stalhorse. Positions are random, so look over each group. A horse of your own makes the search much quicker. Stalhorses vanish at dawn.

Take the picture

Open the Camera Rune, aim at the Stalhorse and keep it centred until the target is recognised and its icon appears, then take the shot.

Return

Go back to Juannelle at the stable and show her the picture for a Silver Rupee.

If you get stuck

  • No mounted Moblins in sight: it is probably daytime, so rest by a fire until night.
  • The picture was refused: the Stalhorse must be recognised by the camera, not just visible in the background.
