How to find it

The entrance is at map coordinates 3650, -3210, near Cape Cales. Look for the cave mouth at that spot; a Blupee or a ring of light often marks them.

Inside the cave

Climb onto the wrecked pirate ship

The cave mouth opens onto a flooded cavern with a wrecked pirate ship wedged inside. Reach the deck by swimming to the hull and climbing the ladder or the broken planks, using Brightbloom Seeds to see in the dark.

Open the Savage Lynel Bow chest

The chest on the ship’s deck holds a Savage Lynel Bow (or Lynel Bow or Mighty Lynel Bow, depending on your progress). Search the crates and barrels around the deck for arrows as you go.

Take the Royal Broadsword from the raft

A second chest floats on a wooden raft in the water, surrounded by red Gloom. Ride or pull the raft to a ledge you can stand on, then open the chest for a Royal Broadsword (or Traveler’s Sword, Soldier’s Broadsword or Knight’s Broadsword, depending on your progress). Avoid touching the Gloom, which drains your hearts.

Shoot the Bubbulfrog

The Bubbulfrog skips across the water at the back of the cavern. Shoot it with an arrow to receive a Bubbul Gem.

How to open the hidden gate

The cave looks like a dead end at first. Reach the base of the cliff by a raft or boat, or drop off the cliff’s north side and glide in to land on the floating wooden plank in front of the rock wall. Stand on the plank (you must be standing, not swimming) and press Down on the D-pad to whistle; the wall slides open into the cavern with the pirate ship. If you miss the plank, throw an Ice Fruit into the water to make a frozen platform. The same whistle is the answer to the riddle in the Misko’s Treasure: Pirate Manuscript side quest. Climbing the hull is awkward, so park under the ship and use Ascend to get on deck.
