How to find it
The entrances are at map coordinates -3555, 3088 and -3989, 3062, near Biron Snowshelf. Look for the cave mouth at that spot; a Blupee or a ring of light often marks them.
Inside the cave
Enter the cave and gather Brightbloom Seeds
Walk in through the cave mouth on the snow shelf. Giant Brightbloom Seeds grow along the left wall; collect them to light your way through the dark tunnels. A glowing Zonaite deposit sits in the wall of the passage.
Break through the rocks to Selmie
The tunnel is sealed by a cave-in of brown rocks. Break them with Bomb Flowers or a heavy weapon to open the way. Selmie sits beside a campfire behind the rockfall; talk to her to start The Duchess Who Disappeared, then take her news to her lodge at Selmie’s Spot.
Shoot the Bubbulfrog
A side passage beyond Selmie holds ore nodes and a Bubbulfrog. Shoot it to claim the Bubbul Gem.
Entrances, requirements and loot
Entrances. The cave is a tunnel through the lower part of Biron Snowshelf with two mouths: one on the east side (-3555, 3088) and one on the west side (-3989, 3062). Boulders block the way, so bring Bomb Flowers or a hammer-style weapon. A Bubbul Bunny (Blupee) near the entrance can lead you to it, and you can also glide in from the ledge above.
Selmie. The side adventure The Duchess Who Disappeared becomes available after the Wind Temple; Fin on Biron Snowshelf, standing by a signal fire, sends you to find Selmie. She is trapped in the middle of the tunnel behind red-sediment rock walls; clear the rocks to free her, then she invites you to her cabin at Selmie’s Spot.
Bubbulfrog. After you enter, glide or drop down to the lower level, then turn around and look for the side opening hung with icicles. The frog is inside; hit it with an arrow to get the Bubbul Gem.
