How to find it

The entrance is at map coordinates -2995, 3225, near Selmie’s Spot. Look for the cave mouth at that spot; a Blupee or a ring of light often marks them.

Inside the cave

Drop in and take the Bubbul Gem

Go to Selmie’s Spot and walk a short way north-west to a crevice marked by a small fire, a barrel and crates. Jump into the hole. A Bubbulfrog flutters just inside the entrance; shoot it for a Bubbul Gem.

Glide to the lower cavern

Follow the passage to the ledge and glide down into the big cavern below. Chillshrooms and Hearty Truffles grow among the ice blocks on the way.

Beat the camp and open the Wing chest

A Bokoblin camp with a campfire sits in the cavern. Defeat the monsters and open the nearby chest for Wing x3.

Bring the crystal to Rutafu-um Shrine

The crystal in this cave belongs to the shrine quest The Northwest Hebra Cave Crystal. Raise it out of the water and carry it to the spot that raises Rutafu-um Shrine, a Rauru’s Blessing shrine.

Route, enemies and the crystal

Getting in. The cave is just north-west of Selmie’s Spot, in a hole below an overhang; a campfire, barrel and crates mark it. Bring Cold Resistance (level 2 is recommended) and jump in.

Bubbulfrog. As you drop down the first shaft, face south-south-east and glide to the first ledge you can reach; the Bubbulfrog is in the opening to the south. Shoot it for the Bubbul Gem.

Lower cavern. A Bokoblin camp with a campfire guards the far side of the lake: three Bokoblins and a Blue Bokoblin. An ice block next to them can be melted. A chest here holds Wing x3.

Rutafu-um Shrine and the crystal. The shrine pedestal near the back of the cave starts The Northwest Hebra Cave Crystal. The crystal lies on the bottom of the small lake. Build a path of ice platforms with Ice Fruit, arrows fused with Ice Fruit or an ice-fused weapon, then pull the crystal out with Ultrahand and carry it to the shrine. Rutafu-um is a Rauru’s Blessing shrine with no puzzle; a chest inside holds a Topaz, and the green runes at the end give the Light of Blessing.
