How to find it

The lower entrance is at map coordinates -3398, 2499, in the snow below the summit; a large bonfire burns beside the mouth. The upper entrance at -3227, 2535 leads out to the high ground near the peak.

Inside the cave

Enter from the lower entrance

Climb the snowy slope past the bare tree to the rocky overhang and the bonfire, and walk into the cave mouth.

Burn the first thorn wall

A wall of thorns blocks the first passage. Throw a Fire Fruit or touch a flame to it and wait for it to burn out. Brightcaps, Chillshrooms and Brightbloom Seeds grow in the dark side passages.

Cross the icy pool

Swim the dark pool in the lower cave; Chillfin Trout live in the water. Climb out onto the ledges and break the Flint rocks for fire starters, which you will need higher up.

Climb past the Luminous Stone

A large Luminous Stone glows in the wall higher up, with a Horriblin lurking on the roof nearby. Clear it before collecting the stone, then keep climbing the ledges and walls.

Light a fire to rise up the shaft

The final shaft is lined with thorns. Burn the barriers with a flame, then build a balloon over a fire or use the updraft to rise to the upper exit.
