How to find it

The entrance is at map coordinates -4429, 3760, near Icefall Foothills. Look for the cave mouth at that spot; a Blupee or a ring of light often marks them.

Inside the cave

Smash the ice at the entrance

A large ice block seals the cave mouth in the far north-west corner of Hebra. Break it with a heavy weapon or melt it with a Fire Fruit arrow or a flame emitter, then step inside.

Clear the camp and open the Bomb Flower chest

A monster camp with a campfire sits past the first chamber. Defeat the monsters, then break the ice walls beyond it. A chest in the rubble holds Bomb Flower x10.

Shoot the Bubbulfrog

Deeper in, a Bubbulfrog hops above a dark floor. Shoot it with an arrow to get a Bubbul Gem.

Reach Otak Shrine

The passage at the back of the cave leads down to Otak Shrine, a Proving Grounds: Traps shrine at -4390, 3714. Gear is taken away inside, so use the weapons on the rack, defeat the Constructs and open the chest in front of the Light of Blessing for a Mighty Construct Bow (Strong or Mighty, depending on your progress).

Getting in, chests and enemies

The entrance. Ice blocks seal the cave mouth at the north-west end of the Icefall Foothills. Melt it with a flame weapon, a Fire Fruit or Fire Fruit arrows, a Ruby-fused shield, or by lighting a campfire next to it.

First chamber. A stone chest locked in an ice block holds Bomb Flower x10. Lighting the campfire in the middle melts the ice around it, but that also wakes the two Blue Bokoblins frozen in the room, so be ready. An Ore Deposit is frozen in ice here too.

Bubbulfrog. In the back cavern, an ice patch on the ceiling on the right as you enter hides the frog’s alcove. Ascend through it, or shoot or break the ice and climb up. Shoot the Bubbulfrog down; if it does not take a critical hit it may land and need a second arrow.

Otak Shrine. A second ice patch is on the floor of the back cavern: jump on it to break through and drop down. A camp of two Black Bokoblins and a Blue Bokoblin, two with bows, waits around a campfire. Melt the single ice block in the alcove between the campfire and the drop (a fire arrow lit at the campfire works if you have no Fire Fruit) to reach the cavern with Otak Shrine.
