Lizard’s Burrow

Lizard’s Burrow is a cave of hot springs in Eldin Canyon, north of Death Mountain between the two lizard-shaped lakes. It holds the Vah Rudania Divine Helm and a Bubbulfrog that drops a Bubbul Gem. Trade the gems to Koltin in The Hunt for Bubbul Gems!

How to find it

The entrance is at map coordinates 2206, 3075, between the two Lizard Lakes, halfway up the north side of Death Mountain. The mouth is blocked by rocks. Blow them open with a Bomb Flower, an arrow with a Bomb Flower attached, or any other explosive. The nearest fast-travel point is Sibajitak Shrine. Bludo in Goron City sends you here for The Hidden Treasure at Lizard Lakes, which unlocks once you have finished Yunobo of Goron City.

Inside the cave

Light the dark tunnel

The tunnel inside is unlit, so bring Brightbloom Seeds. The cave is full of hot springs, but the air itself stays at a normal temperature, so you do not need Flame Guard here. Follow the passage toward the back of the burrow.

Shoot the Bubbulfrog

Near the entrance, look for cracked rocks high up the wall. Break them with an explosive (a Bomb Flower arrow works well) to open a small cavern where the Bubbulfrog hides. Knock it down and defeat it to receive a Bubbul Gem.

Open the chest at the back

At the back of the cave, a chest stands on a stone plinth in one of the hot springs. It holds the Vah Rudania Divine Helm, a Flame Guard helm (2 defense), and opening it completes the treasure hunt for Bludo.
