How to find it

The entrance is at map coordinates -3960, 3245, near Biron Snowshelf. Look for the cave mouth at that spot; a Blupee or a ring of light often marks them.

Inside the cave

Open the cave mouth

A large block of ice hides the cave in the mountainside. Melt it, then use Bomb Flowers to break the cracked rocks inside the entrance.

Glide down the shaft

Jump from the ledge into the shaft and open the paraglider over the giant fan to float down through the cave without taking damage.

Open the Arrow x5 chest

A chest across the gap in the middle of the cavern holds Arrow x5. Use Ultrahand to bridge the gap or move a platform across, then open it.

Take the Vah Medoh Divine Helm

Once the water falls and fills the area, walk to the room the statue was blocking and open the chest for the Vah Medoh Divine Helm, a cold-resistant helm in the Rito set. This completes Treasure of the Secret Springs.

Requirements, the water puzzle and the Bubbulfrog

Quest link. The cave is the answer to Tulin’s riddle in Treasure of the Secret Springs (available after the Wind Temple): the secret sits in the middle of the three hot springs, Sturnida, Goflam’s and Sherfin’s. You do not need the quest to enter the cave or take the helm.

Entrance. A huge ice block seals the cave. Melt it with a fire weapon, a Ruby fused to a weapon or shield (slow), a Fire Fruit or Flame Emitter, or move campfires forward as the ice recedes. Bomb Flowers grow just inside; Ore Deposits and Brightbloom Seeds line the tunnel. Break the rocks in the floor with bombs or a blunt weapon to drop into the tall shaft room.

The shaft room. A central updraft carries your paraglider up to rubble in the walls. Blasting the north-west rubble, the south rubble and the east wall near the top releases three waterfalls; the last one moves the big statue and opens the room with the Vah Medoh Divine Helm. Some rubble hides Ice Keese instead, and there are small side tunnels with Bomb Flowers and Brightbloom Seeds. Bring Bomb Flowers, Bomb Arrows or a hammer.

Bubbulfrog. Look up at the ceiling of the shaft room, at the top of the updraft, and shoot the Bubbulfrog down for the Bubbul Gem.
