Rebonae Bridge Cave

Rebonae Bridge Cave is a short Horriblin den behind a Bokoblin camp under Rebonae Bridge. Clear the Horriblins, use Ascend to climb two wooden scaffolds for a Bomb Flower x5 chest and a Soldier’s-Spear Spear chest, then shoot the Bubbulfrog on the far wall.

How to find the entrance

Go to Rebonae Bridge, the wooden bridge over the Hylia River east of Lookout Landing. A Blupee often grazes on the hill beside the bridge; hit it and it scatters Rupees, which makes the bank easy to spot. Climb down the rocky bank under the bridge to a Bokoblin camp with a cooking pot and bone fences. Beat the Bokoblins and walk into the open jaws of the giant skull built into the cliff: the tunnel behind its teeth is the cave.

Route through the cave

The tunnel opens into a grassy chamber with Horriblins clinging to the ceiling, which drop as you approach. Shoot them off the roof with shock or Bomb Flower arrows, or burn the grass under them with Fire Fruit, then finish them on the ground. A club-wielding Horriblin waits deeper in, so keep your shield up. They drop Horriblin Horns and Claws.

Bomb Flower and Soldier’s-Spear chests

Past the Bokoblin lantern platform stands a tall wooden scaffold. Stand beneath its planks and use Ascend to rise through them. The chest on top holds Bomb Flower x5, and there are Brightbloom Seeds, Fire Fruit and a Giant Brightbloom Seed up there as well.

A second scaffold stands against the far wall of the same area. Drop down, clear any Horriblins still hanging above, then Ascend through the second platform and open the chest for a Soldier’s-Spear Spear.

Bubbulfrog and Bubbul Gem

Follow the cave toward its far end. The Bubbulfrog clings to the rock wall above you. Shoot it with an arrow to knock it down, then strike it before it hops away. When it bursts, pick up the Bubbul Gem for Koltin in The Hunt for Bubbul Gems! Some guides place the frog behind boulders in the ceiling of the chamber; bomb them if you cannot see it.

Exit

Keep going past where the frog fell. Daylight shows through a second set of giant skull teeth; walk out between them and you are back on the riverbank beside the camp’s cooking pot, with Rebonae Bridge above you.

Nearby

Rebonae Bridge Well, where Fell into a Well! starts, is on the bank by the bridge.

Tips

  • Bring a bow, a few Bomb Flowers or Fire Fruit, and a spare shield; the Horriblins hit hard.
  • Roasted Bass and Horriblin Horns lie around the lantern platform’s fire.
