How to find it
The entrances are at map coordinates -325, 802 and -254, 129 and -253, 767, near First Gatehouse. Look for the cave mouth at that spot; a Blupee or a ring of light often marks them.
Inside the cave
Break in and reach the horned statue
The passage opens from a stone corridor near Lookout Landing. Follow it to the barred gate and rubble at the end, where a horned statue stands in the dark room. Talk to the statue to finish the Who Goes There? side adventure, then tell Jerrin in Lookout Landing the voice was only a statue.

Clear the rocks to go deeper
Brown boulders block the tunnels beyond. Blast them with Bomb Flowers or smash them with a heavy weapon to open each section, and pick up the Arrows, Rock Salt and Amber lying along the way.

Open the Royal Shield and Soldier armor chests
The side rooms hold four Royal Shield (or Traveler’s Shield, Soldier’s Shield or Knight’s Shield, depending on your progress) chests, a chest with Soldier’s Greaves, a chest with a Soldier’s Helm and a chest with a Soldier’s Armor. Together the three armor pieces make up the Soldier’s set.

Defeat the Stalnox
A pile of rubble in the large cavern hides a Stalnox. Smash the rubble, shoot the glowing eye on its head and finish it when it collapses. It drops Stalnox parts.

Take the Royal Bow, halberds and guard uniform
Climb the upper levels for the remaining chests. The wooden platforms hold a Knight’s-Halberd Halberd, the mossy chambers hold the Royal Bow (or Traveler’s Bow, Soldier’s Bow or Knight’s Bow, depending on your progress), a chest in a stone room holds a Royal Halberd (or Traveler’s Spear, Soldier’s Spear or Knight’s Halberd, depending on your progress), and the Guards Chamber at the far end holds a Royal Guard Uniform.

Shoot the Bubbulfrog
A Bubbulfrog floats above a dark pit in the lower cavern. Shoot it down with an arrow and collect the Bubbul Gem.

Entrances and requirements
Emergency Shelter (the main way in). Go to the Emergency Shelter in Lookout Landing, south of the Hyrule Castle Town Ruins; drop down the ladder, or talk to Scorpis if the ladder is out of reach. After you have cleared one of the four major dungeons, a hole opens in the back wall; crouch through it. Jerrin in the shelter gives the side adventure Who Goes There?.
From Hyrule Castle. The passage can also be entered through hatches at the Observation Room (past the First Gatehouse, behind a gate you open with Ultrahand) and near the Guards’ Chamber. This route works without a finished dungeon.
Requirements. You need a way to break rock: a bludgeoning weapon such as a Rock Hammer, Bomb Flowers or Bomb Arrows, or the Vow of Yunobo. Ultrahand is needed to lift a large boulder in the north-east, Ascend helps reach one chest, and some areas need swimming. Bring a bow and plenty of arrows for the Bubbulfrog.
Horned Statue
The Horned Statue behind the right-hand rocks starts the side adventure A Deal With the Statue. It takes a Heart Container or Stamina Vessel for 100 Rupees; the “I want one back” option returns an essence for 120 Rupees, so you can switch between hearts and stamina for a net 20 Rupees.
Other loot and enemies
Item names for the weapon and shield chests vary between guides. Most guides list Soldier’s gear (Soldier’s Claymore (or Traveler’s Claymore, Knight’s Claymore or Royal Claymore, depending on your progress), Soldier’s Shield, Soldier’s Greaves, Soldier’s Armor, Soldier’s Helm), a Knight’s Bow, a Knight’s Halberd and a Traveler’s Shield in the passage, so check each chest as you open it. The armor pieces are guarded: the Soldier’s Greaves are near the shelter side behind rocks with a Like Like nearby, the Soldier’s Helm sits in the pool chamber behind rocks with an Ice Like, and the Soldier’s Armor is in a gated room reached by lifting a boulder with Ultrahand, dropping into the hole it covered and using Ascend.
Along the way there are Arrow bundles (about 5, 9 and 3), Amber, Rock Salt, Luminous Stones, Hearty Truffles, Brightcaps, Hylian Shrooms, gems, and a small swim-only cave with Glowing Cave Fish and fairies. Enemies include two Like Likes (one drops Rock Salt), a Shock Like, an Ice Like, Stone Pebblits, Stalkoblins and a Stalmoblin at the bridge, Keese and an Electric Keese, Sticky Lizards, three Black Horriblins behind a blocked door, and the Stalnox field boss in the large watery cavern; defeating it opens two swim paths.
Bubbul Gem
The Bubbulfrog sits in the chasm beyond the Shock Like’s bridge; look down from the edge and hit it with an arrow. It is much closer to the north entrance (around -219, 720) than to the southern one. No Korok seeds are inside the passage and no shrine or Lightroot is inside.
