How to find it

The entrance is at map coordinates -4041, 2671, near Sturnida Lavafalls. Look for the cave mouth at that spot; a Blupee or a ring of light often marks them.

Inside the cave

Slip into the crevice

The entrance is a narrow crevice at the head of Sturnida Secret Hot Spring, at (-4041, 2671, 23), just past a torch and near Sturnida Lavafalls. Bring cold-resistance food or clothing and Brightbloom Seeds: the tunnel is dark.

Open the Royal Claymore chest and break the walls

The first chest inside holds a Royal Claymore (or Traveler’s Claymore, Soldier’s Claymore or Knight’s Claymore, depending on your progress). Break the cracked rock walls with Bomb Flowers, a bomb or a hammer; Brightcaps grow along the route and are worth grabbing as you go.

Reach the Mushroom Haven

The cave’s final chamber is a bright crystal cavern full of mushrooms: the Mushroom Haven that Nat and Meghyn are searching for. Walk in to finish Who Finds the Haven? and collect the Big Hearty Truffle growing among the crystals.

Shoot down the Bubbulfrog

A Bubbulfrog clings to the ceiling in the narrow passage after the pink boulders. Knock it down with an arrow and pick up the Bubbul Gem.

Cave facts

EntranceOne crevice at the head of Sturnida Secret Hot Spring, on the left at a small waterfall and a torch, north-west of Rito Village
ChestClaymore chest hidden under the boulder pile in the first chamber (a Royal Claymore here; many guides list a rusty Knight’s Claymore). Move the loose boulder with Ultrahand from the other side to reach it
BubbulfrogIn a small chamber behind breakable rocks, reached from the left branch after the first chamber
Mushroom HavenA crawlspace behind a movable boulder on the ledge opposite the Bubbulfrog room leads to the glowing crystal cavern
MaterialsBrightcaps, ore deposits, Brightbloom Seeds, Bomb Flowers and Sticky Lizards; the Mushroom Haven also grows Hearty Truffles, Stamella Shrooms, Chillshrooms and Rushrooms
QuestsWho Finds the Haven? (Nat and Meghyn); Cave Mushrooms That Glow asks for 10 Brightcaps, which you can gather here
RequirementsCold protection, Brightbloom Seeds, Bomb Flowers or bombs, Ultrahand

After the first chamber the tunnel splits into three paths. The right and middle paths lead to a chamber with ore deposits; the left path is partly blocked by a bombable wall, and a single Bomb Flower is enough. It slopes to a chamber with another boulder pile and a bombable wall on the far side, with the Bubbulfrog behind it. There are no Korok seeds here.
