Walkthrough

Catch an Ancient Arowana

Ancient Arowana are rare fish that you catch by diving into clean water and pressing A next to one. The usual spot is the water around the Mipha statue at the top of Ploymus Mountain: use Ihen-a Shrine to get close, or climb the stairs from Mipha’s Court. Dento the blacksmith, below the royal pools, will point you to the statue if you ask him about the fish. You may also already carry one from the Great Sky Island.

Give the fish to Yona

Take the Ancient Arowana to Yona, who stands in Zora’s Domain behind the staircase that leads up to the throne room, and give it to her when she asks. She repairs the armor on the spot, and it appears in your inventory as the Zora Armor. Equip it to swim up waterfalls: swim into the falling water and you climb it, then jump off at the top and glide on. The armor does not work in water tainted by sludge.
