A Steward Construct among ruins by Squabble River tells you to give keys born of water to three altars. Freeze three blocks of ice in the river, melt the second and third until they fit the smaller altars and Jochisiu Shrine appears above the ruins.
Walkthrough
Talk to the Steward Construct
The ruins sit under a grove of yellow and orange trees north-east of the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower, next to Squabble River. Talk to the Steward Construct. Three diamond-shaped altars of different sizes are set into the back wall. Pick up flint and wood from around the ruins for a campfire. A shelf of Zonai devices stands by the wall, and the Frost Emitter on it is the only gadget the shrine needs.
Freeze blocks of ice
Carry the Frost Emitter to the river’s edge, switch it on, then use Ultrahand to hold it over the water; slabs of ice form on the surface. (An arrow with an Ice Fruit fused to it, shot into the water, makes a single slab.) Three are needed, so make four or five for spares. Grab a slab with Ultrahand and carry it to the altars.
Fit the ice into the altars
Rotate a slab into a diamond and push it into the largest altar; it fits as it is. Hold the next slab near the campfire, or fuse a Flame Emitter to your shield and hold Guard to blast it with flames, until it shrinks to the middle altar’s size, then melt a third one further for the smallest altar. Keep spare ice away from the flames until you need it.
Ascend into Jochisiu Shrine
When all three altars are filled a Shrine of Light appears on top of the ruins. Ascend up through the roof to it. There is no puzzle inside; open the chest for a Big Battery and take the Light of Blessing.

Tips
- A Flame Emitter placed near the altars melts the ice quickly and safely.
- If a block shrinks too far, make a new one at the river.
