| Quest type | Shrine quest |
|---|---|
| Giver | Hagie |
| Starts in | Hagie’s railcar station on the cliff edge of Tarrey Town, Akkala |
| Requirements | 50 rupees for the crystal and 20 rupees for the railcar; Ultrahand and a Zonai fan or boat parts |
| Reward | Jochi-ihiga Shrine (Light of Blessing) and its chest (a Diamond) |
Buy the strange crystal from Hagie in Tarrey Town, carry it by railcar to the Hudson Construction Site and float it across the lake to the island with Jochi-ihiga Shrine. You cannot fast travel while holding the crystal, so build a simple raft or fan-powered craft with Ultrahand and sail straight at the shrine.
Walkthrough
Buy the crystal from Hagie
Talk to Hagie at the railcar station at the edge of Tarrey Town; he sells the glowing green rock for 100 rupees. Turn him down until his wife Ruli steps in and he lowers the price to 50 rupees, then agree to buy it. Hagie also asks for a one-time 20 rupees to ride the railcar, so bring about 70 rupees in total. Start by picking the dialogue option about the rock; he stands near the western end of town beside the cliff.

Ride the railcar to the construction site
Attach the crystal to the railcar with Ultrahand, pay the fee and ride south along the rails to the Hudson Construction Site by the lake. Detach the crystal at the end of the line. A light beam from the crystal points toward the shrine, so you always know which way to go.

Float it across the lake
Fast travel is disabled while you carry the crystal, so cross the water by building a small craft. Attach the crystal to a plank or float with Ultrahand, add a Fan and ride it across the lake. A single fan with the crystal on a platform is enough.

Place the crystal at the shrine
Land at the island south of Lake Akkala and bring the crystal to the shrine entrance. Setting it at the center of the entrance activates the shrine, which is Jochi-ihiga Shrine. The shrine’s chest contains a Diamond.

Rewards
- Jochi-ihiga Shrine and its Light of Blessing
- Diamond from the shrine chest
Tips
- You can also keep the crystal stuck to your craft the whole way; just keep it from falling into the water.
- Carrying the crystal by hand slows you down; hold it with Ultrahand instead. Materials for a raft, such as planks and wings, lie around the Hudson Construction Site if you run short.
- Once the shrine is unlocked it works as a fast travel point, but the crystal itself still has to be carried the long way. The shrine is near the foot of Akkala Falls on the lake south of Tarrey Town.
