A beam of light runs from O-ogim Shrine at Lanayru Promenade to a crystal in Lanayru Road South Cave. Bring the crystal back to the shrine and it opens. The crystal cannot be carried far by hand, so build a small flying vehicle (a Zonai wing with a fan or rocket and a steering stick works well) to carry it.
Walkthrough
Follow the beam to the cave
Go to O-ogim Shrine at Lanayru Promenade (about 2755, -1089) and follow the green beam of light south along the Lanayru Road. It leads to Lanayru Road South Cave, which opens at about (2698, -1314). Enter the cave and climb its ledges along the beam to the far side of the chasm.
Find the crystal
The beam ends at the crystal, a green gem lying beside some old Zonai machinery. Grab it with Ultrahand. The crystal sits in a small room behind brown rubble at the south end of the cave, so break the rocks with a bomb arrow, a fused weapon or a Zonai bomb. In the first room, blue sediment on the east wall hides several Zonai devices, including a Zonai wing, which is the easiest way to carry the crystal. The cave also holds a chest behind a waterfall with a Zonaite Shield (Strong or Mighty, depending on your progress) and a Bubbulfrog, so collect those on your way.
Build a carrier
Carrying the crystal by hand across the lake is slow, so attach it to a vehicle. Attach the crystal to a Zonai wing with Ultrahand, add a steering stick and a fan or rocket, then launch through the waterfall and glide over the lake toward the shrine. Alternative: strap a rocket to the crystal, fire it through the waterfall, catch it on the rubble pieces of the road with Ultrahand and carry it hop by hop to the shrine.
Place the crystal at the shrine
Bring the crystal to the pedestal in front of O-ogim Shrine at Lanayru Promenade and set it down. The shrine door opens. Inside, open the chest for a Big Battery and take the Light of Blessing. The Migo-o Lightroot lies below the shrine at about (2755, -1088, -570).
