RewardJinodok Shrine, Light of Blessing and a Diamond chest

Jinodok Shrine floats in the South Hyrule Sky Archipelago with an empty pedestal. Use Ultrahand on the rotating gyroscope platform to link the crystal’s island to yours, fetch the crystal, bring it back and place it on the pedestal.

Walkthrough

Reach the island and start the quest

Launch from the Hyrule Field Skyview Tower and glide to the island holding the Jinodok Shrine base; it can take a hop or two across the neighbouring sky islands (Rockets on a platform, or a Wing with two Fans, will carry you the rest of the way). Examine the empty shrine base and a green beam points across the gap to the island where the crystal waits.

Rotate the platform with the gyroscope

Grab the gyroscope device near the beam with Ultrahand and turn it in small steps until the walkway on the platform points at the crystal’s island. One guide gives the setting as four turns to the left and two down; watch the platform and adjust until the path connects. The platform is in your way, so rotate the gyroscope rather than building a bridge.

Fetch the crystal

Cross the walkway, pick up the crystal and carry it back along the path. If the walkway no longer lines up, put the crystal down beside the gyroscope, rotate the platform back to your island and carry it over from there.

Place the crystal on the pedestal

Set the crystal on the shrine base. Inside Jinodok Shrine there is no puzzle: open the chest for a Diamond and step into the green gate for the Light of Blessing.

Rewards

You earn the Light of Blessing and a Diamond from the chest in the middle of the shrine. Jinodok Shrine is a Rauru’s Blessing shrine, so it has no puzzle of its own.

Tips

  • Instead of rotating the platform back, you can set the crystal down beside the gyroscope and glide back to your island with it.
