How to find it
Dive into the large whirlpool at the east end of Lake Hylia to reach Lake Hylia Whirlpool Cave. Step on the cave’s travel point first to start the shrine quest. The crystal is in a building on the Faron Sky Archipelago island directly above the whirlpool: launch from Popla Foothills Skyview Tower and glide southwest (bring stamina food). Drop the crystal through the hole in the floor, jump in after it, dive into the whirlpool and carry it from the cave floor to the glowing circle at 103, -2518. The Amo-ne Lightroot lies directly below the shrine in the Depths.
Solution
Place the crystal
Set the crystal on the glowing circle in the cave floor. It grows into the shrine entrance; walk in and cross the round platform.
Open the chest
The chest at the foot of the stairs holds a Mighty Zonaite Sword (Strong or Mighty, depending on your progress). Drop a melee weapon first if your slots are full.
Take the Light of Blessing
Climb the stairs and touch the altar to collect the Light of Blessing.
The Lightroot below
Directly under this shrine, in the Depths, is the Amo-ne Lightroot. Light it from below to reveal that part of the Depths map.
