Ijo-o Shrine – More than Defense

Enter the shrine and take a moment to absorb the stark, icy surroundings. Ahead, you’ll find a series of large, rotating discs hovering in the air, each one adorned with a shimmering blue energy. Start by using your Ultrahand ability to grab one of the discs on the left. Position it so that it forms a bridge towards the next platform. As you step onto the disc, watch how it rotates, giving you a sense of timing for your jumps. You’ll notice gaps between the discs, so be prepared to leap from one to another as they spin.

Once you reach the next section, you’ll encounter a more complex puzzle involving several blocks and a large cannon. Use your Ultrahand again to move the blocks into a position that will allow you to create a sturdy ramp. Aim the cannon toward the far wall, adjusting it as necessary to ensure a perfect shot. Once you fire it, the blast will clear the path ahead, revealing a hidden treasure chest. Finally, make your way to the altar, where you can claim your Light of Blessing, feeling accomplished as you exit the shrine, ready for your next adventure in the icy heights of Hebra.
