How to find it
Reach the shrine
Ikatak Shrine sits at -3951, 1139 in the Tabantha Frontier, at the edge of Gisa Crater, just north of the crater cave entrance. The easiest approach is to launch from Rospro Pass Skyview Tower and glide southwest. Because it is a shrine quest the shrine gives off no green glow, so it is hard to spot from the air. Activating it starts The Gisa Crater Crystal quest, and a green beam points down into Gisa Crater Cave.
To get the crystal, break the rocks covering the cave and drop in. Two Ice Likes (and some Stalkoblins) guard the shard; you can shoot the Ice Likes from range, hit them with electricity, or simply grab the shard with Ultrahand from a distance. Place the shard under the hole in the roof, attach one or both of the cave’s rockets facing up, and hit them so the shard is flung out of the cave; it may take a few tries to get the angle right. Ascend out of the cave, collect the shard where it lands and carry it to the shrine entrance, then step onto the blue platform in front of the doorway. Take cold-resistant gear or food, as this is snowy country.
Solution
Open the chest
Walk up the entry bridge to the first circular platform. The treasure chest beside the staircase holds a Big Battery.
Take the Light of Blessing
Climb the stairs and cross to the altar at the end. Touch the glowing seal on the terminal to receive a Light of Blessing.
The Lightroot below
Directly under this shrine, in the Depths, is the Kataki Lightroot. Light it from below to reveal that part of the Depths map.
