How to find it
Joniu Shrine is at map coordinates 2918, 507 (height 168), near Upland Zorana Summit Cave.
Solution
Enter the shrine door
The shrine is only available after you finish the shrine quest “The Ralis Channel Crystal”. Examine the glowing green crystal in Ralis Channel (the cave entrance is south of Upland Zorana Skyview Tower; look behind you as you descend the plateaus). Use Ultrahand to build a raft from the wood, sail and fan lying nearby with a control stick to steer; a fan and control stick is easier than the sail because the channel winds. Attach the crystal to the raft and follow the channel north to its end, where a beam of light links the crystal to the shrine site. Detach the crystal there and the shrine rises with its door open. There is no puzzle inside: a flight of stairs leads to the chest and the terminal.
Open the chest on the first platform
Open the chest at the foot of the stairs. It holds a Large Zonai Charge, the shrine’s only chest. (A separate chest floats in the water of Ralis Channel itself; do not confuse the two.)
Take the Light of Blessing
Climb the stairs, pass the glowing seal and touch the terminal beneath the stone arch to receive the Light of Blessing.
The Lightroot below
Directly under this shrine, in the Depths, is the Uinoj Lightroot. Light it from below to reveal that part of the Depths map.
