Mayachideg Shrine – Proving Grounds: The Hunt

Enter the Mayachideg Shrine and find yourself stripped of all equipment, ready for the challenge of ‘Proving Grounds: The Hunt.’ Right away, scan your surroundings for the three Bokoblins lurking nearby. Without weapons, your best strategy is to utilize stealth. Crouch low and sneak around to the right side of the arena, keeping an eye on their movements. As you approach the lone Bokoblin away from the others, you can ambush him with a well-placed sneak attack to take him out quietly. This will give you the opportunity to grab his weapon, which you can then use against the remaining foes.

With one down, make your way to the center where the other two Bokoblins are distracted. Use the environment to your advantage; there are some barrels scattered about. If you can lure them into position, you can shoot one of the barrels with an arrow to create a distraction or even take them both out with an explosion. After clearing the area, search for any remaining items or weapons. Remember to keep moving and use cover to dodge attacks. Once you’ve defeated all the enemies, the shrine’s light will activate, rewarding you for your cunning strategy and resourcefulness.
