How to find it

Mayamats Shrine is at map coordinates -4637, -1513 (height 466), on Rutimala Hill. Launch from the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower and glide west-southwest; bring cold protection.

Solution

Glide over the first gap on the updraft

Turn left past the entrance. Stand over the glowing updraft vent and open your paraglider to ride it across to the far side.

Fetch the big ball

Use Ascend from the alcove on the far ledge to rise to the ledge above, then grab the large ball there with Ultrahand and bring it down. It is too big for the floor socket, but you need it to progress.

Chest: before you go on, drop the big ball into the gap in front of the chest across the pit, jump onto it and hop to the chest platform. Open it for a Large Zonai Charge, then take the ball back.

Wedge the big ball in the chimney and climb

Drop the big ball into the funnel-shaped chimney, stand beneath it and use Ascend to rise onto it, then step off onto the higher ledge.

Catch the small ball

The small ball (the one that fits the exit socket) rolls along a track. Use Recall on it as it passes the gap between the two ramps to stop it, then release so it drops onto the rails. If you lose a ball, the dispensers on the middle level provide a replacement.

Fuse the small ball to the big one

The rails over the pit are too far apart for the small ball alone. Use Ultrahand to attach it to the big ball so the pair rides the rails together.

Send the pair down and ride the updraft

Set the stacked pair on the rails so they roll down to the lower level, then glide down on the updraft, separate the small ball and carry it on (some guides note you can put it straight into the socket without detaching it).

Open the gate and take the Light of Blessing

Place the small ball into the socket beside the exit gate. Walk through and examine the terminal for the Light of Blessing.

The Lightroot below

Directly under this shrine, in the Depths, is the Stamayam Lightroot. Light it from below to reveal that part of the Depths map.
