Moshapin Shrine (Rauru’s Blessing)

Moshapin Shrine is a Rauru’s Blessing shrine. There is no puzzle: walk in, open the chest and take the Light of Blessing from the terminal at the end. The trial is called Rauru’s Blessing. It sits in Eldin Canyon, about 136 map units from Broca Island. The Nipahsom Lightroot lies directly beneath it in the Depths.

How to find it

Moshapin Shrine is at map coordinates 2679, 1904 (height 144), near Broca Island. It lies at the far end of Lake Intenoch Cave, whose entrance is on the ridges just east of Gero Pond in Eldin Canyon (the easiest approach is to launch from the Upland Zorana Skyview Tower and glide north past Foothill Stable). The cave is hot, so wear part of the Flamebreaker set or drink a Fireproof Elixir before you go in. Bomb Flowers are useless in the cave’s flames, so use a rock-based or heavy weapon on the red rock sediment.

Solution

Bring the crystal to the shrine door

Moshapin Shrine is the destination of The Lake Intenoch Cave Crystal shrine quest. Carry the green crystal from Lake Intenoch Cave to the shrine entrance and the door opens. There is no puzzle inside.

The route through the cave runs like this: defeat the Horriblin in the entrance tunnel, then a Blue Horriblin hanging from the ceiling in the next chamber. Smash through the rocks on the right until you find the green crystal. Further on, a Fire Like guards the lava; use the Zonai hydrant beside it to cool the lava into platforms (hold the hydrant over the lava and cross slowly), and attach a fan to the crystal or the platform if you need to ride across. Carry the crystal to the empty shrine rings at the end, which fire a green beam toward the shrine entrance, and follow the beam to deliver the crystal.

Open the chest

The shrine’s chest sits on the dais beside the altar. Open it for a Mighty Zonaite Shield (Strong or Mighty, depending on your progress).

Take the Light of Blessing

Walk up the steps to the altar at the back of the hall and touch the glowing seal to collect the Light of Blessing.

The Lightroot below

Directly under this shrine, in the Depths, is the Nipahsom Lightroot. Light it from below to reveal that part of the Depths map.
