Pupunke Shrine (Rauru’s Blessing)

Pupunke Shrine is a Rauru’s Blessing shrine that stays hidden until you finish the quest A Pretty Stone and Five Golden Apples: bring Damia five Golden Apples from Mido Swamp, then carry the green crystal he gives you along its beam to the shrine’s pedestal. Inside, open the chest for a Mighty Zonaite Sword and take the Light of Blessing.

How to find it

After defeating the Phantom Ganon in the Great Deku Tree, find Damia near the eastern exit of Korok Forest, past Musanokir Shrine, standing beside a large green crystal; the shrine is just beyond him between two large trees. He wants five Golden Apples, which grow on two trees in a clearing on the far north side of Mido Swamp (about 836, 2407); any five will do, so use ones you already carry. To reach the swamp, follow the trail north-east past Fire Keese, skeleton Moblins and Bokoblins, then climb from tree to tree across the bog and watch for an Electric Wizzrobe. Activating a travel point near the swamp edge lets you warp back. Bring the apples to Damia, trade, and take the crystal with Ultrahand.

Solution

Carry the crystal to the pedestal

A beam of light connects the crystal to the shrine. Carry the crystal along it (through the hollow log) and set it at the shrine’s entrance; the shrine opens there. Step inside through the green-flamed gate and go up the stairs.

Open the chest

Open the chest on the round platform in front of the stairs for a Mighty Zonaite Sword (Strong or Mighty, depending on your progress). Free a weapon slot first if your inventory is full.

Take the Light of Blessing

Climb to the altar room and interact with the green seal on the terminal to receive the Light of Blessing.

The Lightroot below

Directly under this shrine, in the Depths, is the Eknupup Lightroot. Light it from below to reveal that part of the Depths map.
