Taunhiy Shrine (Combat Training: Archery)

Taunhiy Shrine teaches mid-air archery: ride the floor vents, draw your bow while airborne to slow time and shoot the Training Constructs. Only arrows work, and the chest holds a Strong Construct Bow, so free a bow slot first.

How to find Taunhiy Shrine

Launch from Lindor’s Brow Skyview Tower and glide to Courage Island in the Hyrule Ridge Sky. On the island, speak to the Steward Construct and glide down through the rings of the Dive Ceremony; completing the dive unlocks the shrine, and beating the ceremony time earns the Glide Shirt. From the Zonai device dispenser in the middle of the island, walk through the overgrown courtyard of pillars, past the broad yellow tree, to the ruined stone staircase. Step onto the blue platform at the shrine at the top.

Taunhiy Shrine solution

Get airborne

Step on one of the round vents in the floor of the training hall, jump and open your paraglider so the updraft carries you up. While you are still in the air, draw the bow: time slows.

Shoot the first Construct

Line up the Construct standing in the hall and release. A second round of Constructs then appears.

Finish the rest

Repeat from the vents to shoot each remaining Construct, including the one that moves. You can fly up again as often as you need. When all are down the door to the inner chamber opens.

Taunhiy Shrine chest

Strong Construct Bow: go through the opened doorway; the chest stands in front of the altar stairs. If your bow pouch is full, drop one you no longer need before opening it.

Light of Blessing

Climb the stairs and examine the green seal to receive the Light of Blessing.

Nearby

Sky shrines have no Lightroot beneath them.

Tips

Shoot from an updraft, not from the floor.
Stamina drains while you aim, so release promptly.
Make room in your bow pouch before the chest.
