Penn, a reporter at Highland Stable, is chasing a voice that sounds like Princess Zelda and is only heard at night. Come back after dark, follow him northwest to Fural Plain and drop into the well where Sagessa is practicing her singing.

Walkthrough

Talk to Penn at Highland Stable

Find Penn near the trees outside Highland Stable. He explains that travelers hear a strange voice from the Fural Plain to the northwest, night after night, and asks you to investigate with him. He only hears it at night, so wait for dark if it is daytime.

Walk to Fural Plain at night

Once it is dark (rest at the campfire or in the stable), talk to Penn again and follow him to the grass of Fural Plain northwest of the stable. You hear a chant before you reach him.

Drop into the well

The voice comes from Haran Lakefront Well, just northwest of Penn, directly north of Haran Lake. Jump in and glide to the bottom to reach Sagessa, who has been practicing her singing because she likes the acoustics. Passers-by misheard the lyrics and were throwing their weapons into the well. Tell her why you came and she gathers the weapons in buckets; you may take any or all of them.

Report back to Penn

Climb out and talk to Penn at the well. He wraps up his article and pays you 100 rupees.

Rewards

Penn pays you 100 rupees. Sagessa also lets you keep the weapons that people threw into the well.

Tips

  • Rest at a campfire or wait at the stable to pass time until night if you arrive early; the voice is only heard after dark.
