Hoz’s squad is attacking the monsters that have taken over Fort Hateno in southeast Necluda. Go to the fort, fight alongside the squad until the monsters are beaten, and Hoz pays you a Silver Rupee.
Walkthrough
Join the squad at Fort Hateno
Fort Hateno sits in Necluda at roughly (2324, -1837). The quickest route is to fast travel to the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower and glide southeast. Hoz’s squad waits outside the fort; Suzuna may hand you a Tough Elixir beforehand. Gather Hyrule Herbs for healing, then talk to Hoz and wait for the order to charge. A health bar at the top of the screen shows the remaining monster forces. Fused weapons and attack-boosting meals help, and the squad will draw much of the enemy’s attention.
Defeat the monsters
Charge in with the squad and clear the fort of its Bokoblins and Moblins, including the stronger Blue and Black Bokoblins and a Blue Moblin. Stay close to the soldiers and focus the same targets, or snipe from range; save the Blue Moblin for last and hit its head with Fire Fruit arrows. Pick up the weapons the monsters drop, and use stealth strikes in the dust if you want to thin them out. Keep fighting until the squad has retaken the fort; Hoz gives a speech and hands over a Silver Rupee (worth 100 rupees). For a bonus, climb the tall tower on the north-east side of the fort: a chest at the top holds a Shield of the Mind’s Eye. The monsters return with the next blood moon, so Hoz’s squad has to fight again.
