Kazul of the Zonai Survey Team is reading monoliths in the Thyphlo Ruins. Read his riddle monolith, open the four stone huts it points to by using each sage’s power at the matching dragon statues, then enter the hidden chamber and read the final monolith with Kazul.
Walkthrough
Talk to Kazul and read the monoliths
Kazul camps beside the Thyphlo Ruins Skyview Tower in the Great Hyrule Forest region. Accept his offer to join the Zonai Survey Team, then read the monoliths scattered through the ruins. Each one gives a riddle about a sage’s power and a group of dragon statues, and starts its own sub-adventure. A sub-adventure only opens once you have finished the matching temple, and they can be done in any order.
Open the four stone huts
Each hut opens when you use the matching power at its statues. At the giant owl ringed by dragon heads, summon Tulin’s gust of wind (The Owl Protected by Dragons) for Sapphire x3. Between the two dragon statues, launch Yunobo along the path from head to tail (The Corridor between Two Dragons; the second monolith, west of Kazul) for Ruby x3. At the six dragon heads, use Sidon’s water (The Six Dragons) for Opal x5. At the end of the long dragon statue that guards the mountain of death, use Riju’s lightning (The Long Dragon) for Topaz x3.
Find the hidden chamber
Once all four huts are open you hear a loud rumble in the ruins. Look for a newly raised stone tile and staircase in the northeast part of the ruins, drop in and walk through the stone corridor. A chest at its end holds a Dusk Claymore.
Read the final monolith with Kazul
Kazul follows you down. Read the monolith in the chamber together: it describes a monument to the loyal warriors who helped King Rauru. Talk to him afterwards to receive the reward, and make room in your pouch first or he cannot hand it over.

Tips
- The sages must be with you, so finish their main-quest temples first.
- Kazul only talks again after you finish the huts, so keep the chamber for last.
