Team Cece or Team Reede? - Zelda: TotK Quest Guide

Quest type	Side adventure
Giver	Cece
Starts in	Ventest Clothing, Hateno Village
You need	The 8 Hylian Shrooms Cece gives you; daytime and clear weather make finding the villagers easier
Reward	Big Hearty Truffle; unlocks The Mayoral Election after Cece’s Secret and Reede’s Secret

Cece hands you eight Hylian Shrooms and asks you to give one to every adult villager who is not wearing her clothes. Visit Leop, Medda, Tamana, Worten, Koyin, Dantz, Tokk and Uma, then return to Cece for a Big Hearty Truffle.

Walkthrough

Take the Hylian Shrooms from Cece

Go into Ventest Clothing, the boutique on the main road through Hateno Village, and talk to Cece. Choose a team (either choice starts the quest), and she gives you eight Hylian Shrooms. If you eat or cook them, she does not replace them, so keep them in your pouch; talk to her again for clues about where the supporters are. The villagers who get a mushroom are the adults not wearing Cece-brand clothes. Skip travelers, children, the candidates’ families and the visiting Sheikah researchers.

Give a shroom to Leop in the plaza

Leop is by the village entrance, near Cece’s shop and the inn. Talk to him and choose the option to give him a Hylian Shroom.

Visit Hateno Pasture and the hills

Follow the road east to Hateno Pasture. Koyin stands on the pier at the pond, Dantz works in the open cow barn, and old Tokk walks the grassy slope on the road between the pasture and the Hateno Ancient Tech Lab. Give each of them a shroom.

Report back to Cece

Return to Ventest Clothing and talk to Cece. She is delighted that all her gifts are delivered and rewards you with a Big Hearty Truffle, which opens the way to The Mayoral Election.

Rewards

You earn a Big Hearty Truffle, a rare mushroom that restores all hearts and adds temporary extra hearts when cooked. Finishing this quest along with Cece’s Secret and Reede’s Secret opens The Mayoral Election.

Tips

Villager positions change with the time of day and weather; guides map them for clear midday (12 pm to 5 pm), so rest at a campfire and choose noon if someone is missing.

The eight recipients can be visited in any order; only villagers without Cece clothing count.
Some villagers shelter indoors in bad weather, so wait for clear skies if you cannot find someone.
