Kazul found a monolith whose riddle reads “Display the power of the Sage of Wind to the owl protected by many dragons.” Head south of Thyphlo Ruins Skyview Tower to the giant owl statue facing a ring of dragon statues, call Tulin’s Gust while standing on the stone platform in front of it, and open the chest in the hut that opens for 3 Sapphires.

Read the riddle
With Tulin as your Sage, talk to the Zonai researcher Kazul at his camp beside the Thyphlo Ruins Skyview Tower and read the monolith he found. It gives you the riddle for this quest and adds it to your adventure log under Investigate the Thyphlo Ruins.
Find the dragon-ringed platform
Leave the camp and climb over the wall to the south. You will find a giant owl statue with several stone dragon heads lying on the ground in front of it, and a flat square stone platform set in the ground facing it. This spot is on the south-south-east side of the ruins, near map coordinates (364, 3056, 175).
Use Tulin’s Gust on the platform
Stand on the square platform in the ground, call Tulin with the sage ability, and unleash his Gust on the platform. The platform rises out of the ground and reveals a treasure chest. Open it for 3 Sapphires. If nothing happens, try the gust again from different spots around the platform.

Sapphires sell well (Ramella in Gerudo Town buys them for a good price), so keep them for when you need rupees.
