The Six Dragons is a riddle quest: a monolith asks you to show the power of the Sage of Water in front of six dragons. Stand among the six stone dragon heads in the mud pit of Thyphlo Ruins and use Sidon’s water shield; a hidden chest rises with Opal x5.

How to start The Six Dragons

Talk to Kazul, the Zonai researcher at the Thyphlo Ruins Skyview Tower, and read the monolith beside him. It tells you to display the power of the Sage of Water in the presence of the six dragons. You need Sidon’s Vow to finish it.

The Six Dragons walkthrough

Find the six dragon heads

The six dragons are stone heads arranged around a small patch of grass in the mud flats of Thyphlo Ruins, at about (3176, 187), in the north-west corner of the ruins near a small pond. Walk onto the grass in the middle of the ring of heads.

Use Sidon’s power

Summon Sidon with his Vow and, standing among the six heads, swing your weapon so he sends out a blast of water (a charged attack works well). Sidon often stands some way off, so walk him into position. Repeat if nothing happens at first, and face northwest toward the slab.

Open the chest that rises from the ground

The mossy slab beside the ring of heads rises out of the ground and uncovers a small stone chamber. Open the chest inside for Opal x5.

Rewards

  • Opal x5.

Tips

Thyphlo Ruins holds more side adventures from Kazul, such as The Corridor Between Two Dragons (needs the Fire Temple, rewards three Rubies) and The Owl Protected by Dragons. This one needs the Water Temple finished so the tablet appears.
