A Picture for Highland Stable

Quest typeSide quest
GiverPadok
Starts inHighland Stable, Faron Grasslands (530, -3451, 95)
RequirementsPurah Pad Camera (unlocked after your first regional phenomenon); the Giant White Stallion must be found near Horse God Bridge
RewardAn Energizing Honey Crepe and 1 Pony Point (keep a free food slot)

Padok wants a painting of the Giant White Stallion for the empty frame in Highland Stable. Take a Camera photo of the horse east of the stable beyond Horse God Bridge and show it to Padok.

Walkthrough

Talk to Padok about the empty frame

Examine the blank canvas on the wall of Highland Stable or speak to Padok at the counter. He mentions a rumor of a giant white stallion near the Lake of the Horse God and says a picture of it would fit the empty frame on the wall.

Photograph the Giant White Stallion

Head east across Horse God Bridge and into the valley beyond. The stallion stands in the ravine at the end of the trail, around Ibara Butte (about 803, -3718, 81). Open the Camera on the Purah Pad, frame the horse and take a picture; the label Giant White Stallion shows when it is in frame.

Show the picture to Padok

Return to Highland Stable and talk to Padok, then pick the photo from your album. He asks to paint a copy for the wall and thanks you with an Energizing Honey Crepe, the stable’s specialty, and a Pony Point. The crepe is held back if your food inventory is full, so empty a slot first.

Rewards

Padok gives you an Energizing Honey Crepe and 1 Pony Point. If your food inventory is full the reward is held back until you make room.

Tips

  • Mounting and calming the stallion is a separate shrine quest, Ride the Giant Horse, and gets you the same horse registered at the stable.
  • You can show Padok a new photo later and he will replace the painting, as long as you bring a new reference picture.
  • You do not need to tame the stallion to take the photo; if you have already registered it Padok says the stable is looking after the horse for him.
