Starts inKakariko Village General Store (1826, -1041)
RequirementsA weapon to defeat the Bokoblins
RewardEndura Carrot

Trissa’s two stockers, Steen and Olkin, are arguing instead of clearing monsters from the Ring Ruin in the hills west of Kakariko Village. Defeat the monsters yourself, tell the pair, then report to Trissa for an Endura Carrot.

Walkthrough

Talk to Trissa

Go to High Spirits Produce, the general store in Kakariko Village, and talk to Trissa; Makasura Shrine is the nearest fast-travel point, or glide in from Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower. She says the two old men who stock the store left to drive monsters out of the Ring Ruin to the west and have not come back.

Clear the Ring Ruin

Head to the Ring Ruin in the hills west of the village (Makasura Shrine is a convenient fast-travel point) and find Steen and Olkin at its entrance. They are quarrelling, not fighting, so go in and defeat the monster camp yourself: four Blue Bokoblins (stronger Bokoblins as your progress rises) in the central clearing, with archers perched above.

Tell Steen and Olkin

Return to the pair and tell them the ruin is clear. Seeing you fight shows them that both attack and defence matter, and they head home.

Report to Trissa

Go back to Trissa. She is delighted that the two are getting along and thanks you with an Endura Carrot, which boosts your stamina when cooked. The store also restocks once the pair are back.

Rewards

An Endura Carrot.

Tips

  • The ruin has chests with a Giant Brightbloom Seed and a Zonaite Sword (Zonaite Sword, or the Strong Zonaite Sword (Strong or Mighty, depending on your progress) later in the game).
  • The enemies scale with your progress.
  • A stone slab in this ruin is one of the four you read for Bugut in A Trip through History.
