Verla cannot cross the freezing pool inside Talonto Peak Cave with his injured wing. Collect 10 Chillshrooms from the cave and bring them to him for a Purple Rupee.

Walkthrough
Talk to Verla
Find Verla outside Talonto Peak Cave, at the end of the snowy path north of Hebra Trailhead Lodge; you can also glide there from Rospro Pass Skyview Tower. He needs 10 Chillshrooms from inside but cannot cross the cold pool.
Gather 10 Chillshrooms
Enter the cave and pick Chillshrooms from the walls and floor. Avoid swimming in the freezing water, which drains health. Either carry the wooden planks lying beside Verla inside with Ultrahand and join four or five into one long plank to float across, or fuse Ice Fruit (growing near the entrance) to arrows and shoot the water to freeze a path to the raft. Climb the far wall to reach the Chillshrooms at the back; the cave holds more than 10, so take a few extra. Bring cold protection.
Deliver the Chillshrooms
Give Verla 10 Chillshrooms. When asked if this is enough, hand them over. He rewards you with a Purple Rupee and advises you to be careful of other cold pools in the mountains.
Rewards
You receive a Purple Rupee, worth 50 Rupees.
