Boraa, a Gerudo smith at Kara Kara Bazaar, needs a weapon decoration idea that sparkles and radiates burning passion. Fuse a Ruby to any weapon and show it to her, and she rewards you with an Electric Keese Wing.
Walkthrough
Talk to Boraa
Find Boraa sitting under an orange awning on the east side of Kara Kara Bazaar, next to a wooden crate with a spear across her lap. Her mentor asked her for a decorated weapon that “sparkles” and “radiates burning passion”, and she cannot use monster parts. She would love a reference weapon.
Fuse a Ruby to a weapon
Pick a spare weapon, drop a Ruby and use Fuse to attach it. A Ruby comes from ore deposits (one is in Crenel Hills Cave, and rare deposits on the southern side of Death Mountain), as a rare Talus drop, or from the cave beside Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower: jump down beside the tower, enter the cave, move the blocking stone with Ultrahand and blast the diamond deposit behind it with a Bomb Flower to reveal a Ruby. If your weapon already has a fusion, remove it first (in the menu, or at the shop in Tarrey Town). Equip the weapon, which now glows with fire, and stand in front of Boraa.
Show her the weapon
Talk to Boraa with the ruby weapon in hand. She studies it, is delighted by the sparkle and burning passion, and rewards you with an Electric Keese Wing. Make sure you have room in your pouch first.
Rewards
You receive an Electric Keese Wing, a material you can fuse to a weapon of your own to add electric damage.
Tips
- Any weapon works; a throwaway stick with a Ruby is enough.
- Rubies are also a rare drop from Talus enemies, so you may already have one in your pouch.
