Loone, a fossil lover camped beside East Akkala Stable, wants to see the Eldin Great Skeleton intact. Its eyeball is missing: blast it out of the nearby rocks with a bomb flower arrow, then place it in the socket with Ultrahand. She pays a Purple Rupee.
Walkthrough
Meet Loone near East Akkala Stable
Loone’s tent stands beside the road near East Akkala Stable. Talk to her and she tells you about three giant leviathan fossils; she asks you to meet her at the first one, the Eldin Great Skeleton. Her marker appears on your map at the fossil.
Go to the Eldin Great Skeleton
Follow the marker toward the far north-eastern edge of the map; Loone walks to the fossil herself, so you only need to follow her quest marker. The skeleton’s long spine and ribs curve over the slopes, so keep heading toward the bones; Loone is waiting beside the fossil.
Put the eyeball back and talk to Loone
Talk to Loone to hear what is missing, then look for the eyeball buried among the stones beneath the fossil. The fossil’s right eye socket is empty. Fuse a Bomb Flower to an arrow, charge the blast and shoot it so the stones break apart and the eyeball falls free. Lift the eyeball with Ultrahand, move it into the empty socket and rotate it until it snaps into place, then talk to Loone again. She hands over a Purple Rupee and mentions the next fossil, in Hebra.
Rewards
You earn a Purple Rupee (50 rupees). Loone’s next stop becomes Hebra’s Colossal Fossil.
Tips
- Stand back before the bomb flower arrow lands so the falling stones and the eyeball do not catch you.
- Do the three fossils in order: Eldin, then Hebra, then Gerudo.
