Teli has lost five Cuccos around Riverside Stable. Find all five, pick each one up and throw it back inside the fence of the pen next to the stable; he pays you a Silver Rupee (100 rupees) to keep quiet.
Walkthrough
Talk to Teli at the pen
Teli stands at the fence of the Cucco pen at Riverside Stable. Ask what is wrong and agree to help.
Collect the five Cuccos
The five Cuccos are all close to the stable. Guides place them: on a rock or rubble in the water south-east of the pen (a Cucco thrown into the river sinks, so make a plank bridge with Ultrahand or freeze a path first); on top of a thick tree beside the Hudson Construction supplies to the south; near the Stable Trotters’ stage to the north, listening to the music; inside the stable against the back wall; and on top of the stable, on the horse statue’s head, which you reach with Ascend. Sneak up on each one, pick it up and throw it over the fence into the pen. Carrying a Cucco leaves your hands full, so deliver them one at a time.
Report back to Teli
When the last Cucco is inside, talk to Teli again. He is relieved and hands over a Silver Rupee to keep the escape a secret.
Rewards
You receive a Silver Rupee.
Tips
- Attacking a Cucco repeatedly, even by accident with a rod or fused weapon, makes a flock of them attack you, so pick them up gently and do not hit them. Fast travelling to a nearby shrine makes the flock despawn.
- Guides disagree slightly on the exact perches, so search the whole stable grounds if the quest log shows fewer than five.
