The quest becomes available once you have cleared the Wind Temple and returned to Rito Village (the Tulin of Rito Village main quest). Fish for Fletching is a quick trade quest. Talk to Bedoli on the grassy ledge above the armor shop in Rito Village, then give her three Glowing Cave Fish and she hands over 10 arrows. Afterwards she keeps buying fish and mushrooms for arrows.

Walkthrough

Find Bedoli above the armor shop

Once the blizzard has cleared, climb to the grassy plateau above the armor shop in Rito Village, next to the hot-air balloon. Bedoli stands among the tents there and explains that the village’s food stores are empty. Her request is simple: bring three Glowing Cave Fish in return for 10 arrows. Climb the stairs and cross the wooden bridge near the top of the village to reach her hill; she stands near a cluster of supply crates.

Trade the fish for arrows

Glowing Cave Fish swim in the shallow pools inside caves and wells, so check your inventory first; you probably already carry some. If not, West Lake Totori Cave, just northwest of Rito Village (the cave holding Wao-os Shrine, which also gives you a fast travel point to come back), has plenty, and Rospro Pass Cave and Hebra South Summit Cave also have fish pools. Give her three and she hands over Arrow x10 as promised and offers the same deal again, this time for Chillfin Trout or Brightcaps.

Rewards

You receive Arrow x10. After the quest Bedoli keeps trading 10 arrows for fish: Glowing Cave Fish, and now also Chillfin Trout and Brightcaps, as many times as you like. Only the first trade is needed to finish the quest.

Tips

  • Chillfin Trout swim in the cold lakes of Hebra, and Brightcaps grow in dark caves, so the repeat trade is an easy way to restock arrows while exploring.
  • Glowing Cave Fish are only found in cave pools, not in open lakes.
  • If a cave’s pool has run dry, sleep a few times at Lookout Landing until a Blood Moon passes; the fish respawn.
  • It does not matter which cave the fish came from.
