Trissa’s Cuccos have started laying their eggs somewhere new, so her shelves are empty. Bring her 10 Bird Eggs: wait until morning and follow the Cuccos from the front of the shop to the Cucco Hideaway, a small cave in the hillside south of the village, then take the eggs from its nests.
Walkthrough
Take the job from Trissa
Talk to Trissa in her shop in Kakariko Village. She says the Cuccos lay their eggs every morning but have moved to a new spot, and she would like 10 eggs because they sell so well.
Follow the Cuccos at dawn
Wait outside her shop (sleep at the inn or a campfire) until about 5:00 to 5:30 in the morning. The Cuccos leave the front of the shop together; follow them along the path past the Zonai dispenser to the Cucco Hideaway, a small hole in the hillside that you crouch through. Inside, six nests hold two eggs each, twelve in total. Take 10 of them. Attacking Cuccos for eggs also works but repeated attacks summon an angry flock. Any Bird Eggs count, so if you already carry 10 you can skip the trip entirely.
Hand over the eggs
Return to Trissa and give her 10 Bird Eggs. She pays you 50 rupees, well above the normal price per egg, and puts the eggs on her shelves.
Rewards
You earn 50 rupees from Trissa. Past the nests, beyond a rock wall by a small pond, a Like Like guards another rock wall with a Bubbulfrog behind it, worth a look while you are inside.
Tips
- Bird Eggs also cook into hearty dishes, so keep any spares.
