Walkthrough

Meet Loone in the Gerudo Great Skeleton

Loone sets off for the third skeleton, in the south-west Gerudo Desert near Irasak and Miryotanog Shrines; her marker shows the way. The cave entrance is below a sand dune. Head into the cave and talk to her at her campfire. She points out the baby leviathan’s skull on the ground and asks you to find the missing tail and torso.

Find the tail and the torso

The tail lies under a pile of sand next to the water, opposite Loone. Blow the sand away with a Zonai Fan or Tulin’s Gust, then lift the tail out with Ultrahand. The torso is stuck in the rock above the parent skeleton: keep your distance and lob Bomb Flowers at the ceiling until it falls loose, or drop it onto the baby’s head with Ultrahand.

Assemble the baby leviathan

Grab each piece with Ultrahand and position it beside the skull. Attach the torso to the head first, then connect the tail to the torso, and check that every bone lines up before you release them; there is no loud click, so judge the alignment by eye. When the pieces fuse, the baby lies beside its parent.

Talk to Loone

Return to Loone. She thanks you for completing the family and hands over a Purple Rupee.

Rewards

You earn a Purple Rupee (50 rupees). This finishes Loone’s chain of leviathan fossils.

Tips

  • Stay on the cave floor while you pop the torso free; bomb flower blasts also damage nearby bones.
  • If a piece falls, lift it again rather than attacking it.
